There is currently an onsite COVID-19 Viral Antigen Testing at Simpson Bay Resort, located at Billy Folly Road #37. The Health Care Laboratory is located in the Member Services Center, next to the Hollywood Casino. This test is accepted by the U.S., and is done in a certified lab registered in St. Maarten.
The testing site is open from 5 PM to 7 PM, however, as the demand becomes higher, these hours may be extended in order to better serve guests. The testing center will be open January 21st-23rd, and as of January 25th, it will be open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until further notice.
This test costs $70 USD (credit card payment is preferred) and is a rapid test, meaning that results will be available within one hour of the lab’s closing that same day. Results can be picked up at the front desk and will be in a sealed envelope to better ensure privacy.
The U.S. also requires a mandatory test for re-entry after visiting SXM. For more information, visit this link: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html
