Q: What views do the different units offer?

A: Many units offer an ocean view, others face Simpson Bay Lagoon and its marinas.


Q: Is the Atrium Beach Resort located right on the beach?
A: Yes, our resort is located right on Kimsha Beach. You step from our pool area directly onto the beach.

Q: Is there a balcony or terrace?
A: All units have a generously sized balcony with table and chairs.

Q: How badly was the resort damaged during Hurricane Irma in September 2017?
A: The Atrium never closed after the storm and always had all utilities available to guests - as the only location on the island. There was water damage to several units, which are renovated by now. The grounds around the pool area were roughed up, but all is back to normal now. Of all the resorts on St. Maarten, the Atrium structure handled the storm the best.


Q: What rental car agency has a desk at the Atrium?
A: We work with Courtesy Car Rental.

Q: Is there secure parking for a rental car? Do you charge for parking?
A: The Atrium has two parking decks, one is covered. Both decks are secured with a gate, which can be operated with the guest's room key. Our parking is very secure and free of charge to guests.

Q: How to get from the airport to The Atrium Beach Resort?
A: The resort is 2.2 miles (3.5 km) from the arrival terminal. There is always a good number of taxis waiting for arriving flights. If you booked a rental car, you might want to take your car right at the airport and save the cab fare.

Q: Are there beach chairs available?
A: Yes, there are beach lounges and umbrellas set up on the beach for guest.

Q: Does the resort provide beach towels?
A: Yes

Q: Are there safes installed in the rooms?
A: Yes, each unit has a safe installed.

Q: Is there Internet access in the rooms? Do you charge for this amenity?
A: There is free Internet access available in all rooms and in the lobby.

Q: We visit St. Maarten by cruise ship and will stay on the island only for a few hours. Is it possible to buy a day pass to use the resort's amenities?
A: Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Q: Do you accept credit cards at the resort?
A: Yes, we accept all major credit cards.

Q: Are there ATMs in the area?
A: There is an ATM within walking distance of the resort, many others in the village of Simpson Bay.

Q: Are there laundry facilities?
A: There are coin-operated laundry facilities on every second floor.

Q: How are the kitchens equipped? Are there coffee makers? Are hair dryers in the bathrooms?
A: The kitchens are well equipped with coffee makers, microwave oven, all pots and pans and a large refrigerator. There also is a hairdryer.

Q: Do you offer babysitting services?
